Aromatherapy Massage

The usage of aromatic materials, including essential oils, and other aroma compounds, which help to improve a psychological or a physical well-being. It is offered as a complementary, an adjunction therapy or as a form of alternative medicine.

Foot Massage

Foot massage improves circulation, stimulates muscles, reduces tension, and often eases pain. It also gives you a chance to check out your feet so you can get a jump on treating blisters, bunions, corns, and toenail problems

Heated Stone Deep Tissue Therapy

Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with essential oils to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the massage stones provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering. The heated stone is utilized throughout the entire session with the combination of deep tissue therapy.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles (fascia). It helps your body heal properly from injuries and can restore range of motion.

NeuroMuscular Release

Neuromuscular Therapy uses a variety of trigger point techniques to provide a deep and lasting relaxation of your muscular problems.

Orthopedic Massage

Orthopedic Massage session treats painful conditions which affect the soft tissues of the body and the client's musculoskeletal system. The therapist may release tight muscles, help to stretch shortened muscles, and decompress joints. The goal is to normalize the soft tissues of the body. It treats specific conditions and keep clients healthy and fit. The therapist may integrate a range of techniques to treat conditions by adapting the style for each client, as every person's body is slightly different.

Soothing Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed massage tables, cushions, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.

Sport Pain Management

Sports Pain Management therapy at IOH is nothing like a regular sports massage. It uses a variety of massage techniques from several types of modalities such as Thai,Trigger Point Therapy, Isolated Stretches, Tui Na, Myofascial Release designed to help your body feel freer and stronger.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy focuses on the release of tension around specific nerve centers found throughout your body. It is great for relieving cramped and overused muscles.

Body Balancing

This can involve various techniques and practices aimed at improving posture, flexibility, strength, and coordination to address any imbalances or asymmetries present. Posture Screen

Posture screening involves assessing an individual’s posture to identify any imbalances or deviations from the ideal alignment. It will include observing the position of the head, shoulders, spine, pelvis, and lower limbs. This assessment can help identify areas of weakness or tightness that may contribute to pain or dysfunction. At Inductor Of Healing, we will do through assessments to determine reasons and have plan to correct the issues.

Strengthening Exercises

Strengthening exercises varies at IOH depending on your fitness goals and level of experience. Common ones include squats, lunges, push-ups, pull-ups. It's important to focus on proper form and gradually increase the weight or resistance to continue challenging your muscles. Additionally, incorporating exercises that target different muscle groups and using a variety of can help prevent plateaus and promote overall strength development.

Stretches

Stretching often will help improved flexibility, increased range of motion, reduced muscle tension and soreness, enhanced circulation, better posture, stress relief, and injury prevention during physical activities. Additionally, it can promote relaxation and mental clarity.

Green Light Therapy

Green light therapy is a form of phototherapy that involves exposure to green light, typically in the wavelength range of 510 to 570 nanometers. While not as extensively studied as red light therapy, green light therapy is believed to have various potential benefits, although research is still ongoing. Some potential applications of green light therapy include Mood regulation, Discomfort management, Skin conditions, Sleep disorders. Halotherapy (Salt)

Helping to naturally stimulate the body’s internal process for cleansing while also strengthening respiratory function. Halotherapy has been known to successfully improve many conditions including: Asthma, COPD, Sinus Infections, Eczema, and many more! We also have a salt therapy session for kids 12 and under!

CranioSacral therapy uses gentle touch manipulation of your head, neck, and the bottom of your spine. Your neck, back, and hips will feel looser and freer.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of massage based on preliminary evidence which is hypothesized to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.

Reflexology

Reflexology focuses on applying pressure to specific nerve zones in your feet that correspond to specific energy zones throughout the body. Reflexology treatments are highly effective for treating allergies, headaches, stress, and depression.

TMJ Release

Stress or injury, tooth clenching and grinding (known as bruxism), head and neck muscle tension, often stress-related jaw injuries or trauma, joint diseases (like arthritis) can contribute to TMJ disorder. Releasing the tension in the TMJ muscles can be one of the remedies to help alleviate these problems.

Tui Na

Tui Na is a form of Asian bodywork which uses uniform compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points.

Thai Bodywork Therapy

Thai massage uses ancient stretching and massage techniques to leave you feeling free and relaxed.

Pre/Post Surgery

Post surgery treatment is a specialized advanced treatment designed to assist the body through recovery. The treatment includes manual lymphatic drainage, skin brushing by gua sha techniques, myofascial release to increase the body self-drainage and blood flow which encourage the tissues to heal faster and become smooth, healthier without scars tissue. We will use a special herbal infused oils during this treatment. Our special herbal infused oils are designed to smooth and strengthen the skin surface.

Table Massage (Home)

Receive a catered massage treatment at the comfort of your own home, and choose between a Deep Tissue, Myosfascial, or Relaxation Massage. $.30 extra for Chicago and $1.25 per mile for suburban areas. $2 per mile plus regular massage service fee for Wisconsin and Indiana customers. Example: In office Swedish Massage is $100, Home Visit will be $130 in Chicago. For suburban residents is $1.50 per mile plus in office visit regular price.

Any in office promotion can also be used for Home Visits.
